This piece was created as a special birthday gift, designed from the very beginning around a single, carefully chosen stone.

For this project, the starting point was the diamond itself. I wanted something timeless, understated and beautifully balanced- a neutral piece that would feel effortless to wear, yet still quietly striking.

With this in mind, I explored a range of options, considering both ethical sourcing and overall character, before selecting a 7.5 mm round brilliant lab-grown diamond. Its clarity, proportion and light performance made it the perfect centrepiece for a simple, elegant design.

To allow the stone to truly shine, I created a minimal white gold floating bezel setting, designed to move gently along the chain. The smooth, refined form keeps the focus on the diamond, while offering a modern, secure and highly wearable finish.

This is a piece defined by its simplicity, where careful material selection and considered design come together to create something quietly beautiful and enduring.
