Remodelled Heirloom
The SILVER currents diamond ring
This ring was created from a silver and diamond bracelet that had been quietly sitting unworn, no longer quite suited to its owner’s style.
After seeing the transformation of her niece’s rings (The Goddess Gold Stacking Rings), she was drawn to the same sense of flow and movement, but wanted something simpler: a single, slightly chunkier ring that felt effortless to wear.
Together, we reimagined the piece into a design that preserved that organic softness, while giving it a little more presence on the hand. Inspired by the natural movement of water, the form gently curves and wraps, creating a sense of quiet fluidity.
The original diamonds were carefully unset and thoughtfully reworked into the new design, using a combination of bezel and flush settings for a smoother, more durable finish.
The ring itself was created using the casting process, beginning as a hand-carved wax model before being transformed into solid silver- allowing the flowing, sculptural form to come to life.
There’s a calmness to this piece, something understated yet quietly striking- like the steady movement of water shaping something over time.
